Ministries in the House
Missions
The Missions Department consists of ministries that serve the church.
* Armor Bearer – Ensure that any and every need of the Man of God is attended to promptly. To serve the Man of God with a spirit of humility and in love.
* Intensive Response Team– Plan and establish security procedures for church and parking lot. Ensures premises, members and visitors of church are protected during church services, special events, revivals or any occasion when the church is open for worship and /or fellowship.
* Usher Ministry – An Usher must ensure all visitors; members, partners, and friends of this ministry are met with a pleasant personality and ensure all are seated properly.
* Media Ministry – Ensure that all audio equipment functions in a way that reflects the excellence expressed through the spoken Word of God.
* Greeter’s Ministry – To provide the warmest atmosphere possible, for all guests and members.
* Finance Ministry – This team of people are responsible for the management and stewardship of church funds.
Outreach
The Outreach Department consists of ministries that reach out to the surrounding community and the Greater Atlanta area.
* Renewing Outreach – This ministry goal is to reach the entire community and put lives back on track.
* Soul Winning – Spread the gospel.
* Transportation Ministry – Call 678 715-1677 – 24 hours before service – To provide transportation to all those who live in Douglas County and desire to come to services held at Crossroads For Life Ministries.
* Nursing Home – To show love, caring, hope and salvation when people are sick and shut-in in nursing homes and hospitals.
* Bookstore – Encourage Crossroads to meditate on the Word of God using audio and books as a supplement to regular church attendance and Bible study times.
Education
The Education Department consists of those ministries that provide access to growth, development and empowerment through education and training.
* Children’s Ministry – To teach and train children to reign in this life; to become God-chasers.
* Youth Ministry – Geared to help youth develop their relationship with God and teach them how to discover their destiny.
Relationship Building
The Relationship-Building Department consists of ministries designed to strengthen relationships with God and our fellow man.
* Hospitality Ministry – (Call church at 678-715-1677 for more information)- To serve in a spirit of excellence at all times by caring and demonstrating God’s love.
* Intercessory Prayer – The Intercessory ministry is a ministry of selfless, spirit filled prayer warriors, whose nature is to pray for the will of God and others.
* Discipleship Ministry – To stay in communication with members of Crossroads with prayer and ensure they are well connected with happenings in the ministry.
* Men’s Ministry – To encourage the men to build a relationship with God.
* Music Ministry – (Call church at 678-715-1677 for more information) – Always evolving with the times, trends, in church music and tastes in worship.
* New Members Ministry – To ensure all new members are easily integrated in the life and programs of this ministry as well as the body of Christ.
* Women’s Ministry – To help every woman to walk in the newness of life that God has for them.
Preservation
The Preservation Department consists of ministries designed to maintain the physical appearance of the church.
* Housekeeping Ministry – To clean and maintain the house of God in a way that exemplifies the excellence set forth by our Lord Jesus Christ.
* Maintenance Ministry – To ensure that the grounds on which the Church sits is well maintained and well pleasing to the eye of the beholder.
